Watching Creepshow and using Tony's book, Travelogue of Horror, as a reference for Pittsburgh filming locations. My son is super excited about seeing these places in person.

I'm going to require at least one more viewing of The Green Knight. That bud was kicking in and at one point the king says do you understand your quest and I yelled at the TV: NO. Man, was that weird and cool and serious and slow and way different than I thought it was going to be.
Just watched it, completely sober, and had the same takeaway. Definitely a weird one, but I enjoyed it.
Just got an alert that the 4k is getting ready to ship, so I must have liked it enough to preorder it. Looking forward to watching again

I actually downloaded the 4K/Atmos version, then realized that my Sony won't natively play MKV files.
I was just thinking about taking a day off to go to the movies for the first time in years, and the only thing I want to see is Shang-Chi, but it's not in IMAX.
Tonight's 31 days of Halloween entry was Night of the Scarecrow. Not to be confused with the similarly titled and much better film, Dark Night of the Scarecrow.

Was that the one with Benny from LA Law in the Scarecrow costume?

Let me know what you think. I'm usually jaded when I figure out a plot in the first 10 minutes. Even so I think the execution wasn't great. It tries to be a modern Giallo but fails.
I'm curious if my wife will make it the whole way through. She always wants to do a 30 days of Halloween movie watch.. then taps out early when something is too violent or scary haha.
We finally watched this last night. I thought it was ok. Nothing awful, nothing great..just kind of there. I figured things out pretty early too. The overall execution just seemed a bit off.

Watched The Guilty on Netflix. Jake Gyllenhaal as a suspended cop working an LAPD 911 center, very tense 90 minutes spent in that call center building. Definitely worth your while.

thanks for the heads up
Ditto. Saw this pop up and was hesitant, but seems like a not so bad way to kill 90 minutes.
