Ever seen Eaten Alive? Those 2 always had the same feel to me.

Tonight we're going with Creepshow.
I love Eaten Alive. I even had Robert England sign a mini poster from it rather than something ANOES related.

You can never go wrong with Creepshow.

Fun fact, Lindsay from Halloween was the little girl in Eaten Alive. She also was on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills...

Watching Creepshow and using Tony's book, Travelogue of Horror, as a reference for Pittsburgh filming locations. My son is super excited about seeing these places in person.

Just watched it, completely sober, and had the same takeaway. Definitely a weird one, but I enjoyed it.
Just got an alert that the 4k is getting ready to ship, so I must have liked it enough to preorder it. Looking forward to watching again

I actually downloaded the 4K/Atmos version, then realized that my Sony won't natively play MKV files. :(

I have a Plex media server, and the app doesn't seem to want to play that media.

Huh. I play mkv files on it all the time - not 4K though. Weird. Maybe a bitrate limit or something?

Dunno, but it was not playing it in 4k. It could very well be a limitation on the Android Plex app that Sony uses.

I was just thinking about taking a day off to go to the movies for the first time in years, and the only thing I want to see is Shang-Chi, but it's not in IMAX.

Let the Right One In. I’ll probably remove it from my Halloween rotation but it’s such a great movie.

Also started the full Halloween series watch with the original 78 film. It’s perfect, of course. 2 is up next which is so underrated.

Tonight's 31 days of Halloween entry was Night of the Scarecrow. Not to be confused with the similarly titled and much better film, Dark Night of the Scarecrow.

I need to figure out how to trick the wife into watching Ash v. Evil Dead 3. She tapped out after 2 and refuses to continue.

Was that the one with Benny from LA Law in the Scarecrow costume?

I'm curious if my wife will make it the whole way through. She always wants to do a 30 days of Halloween movie watch.. then taps out early when something is too violent or scary haha.
We finally watched this last night. I thought it was ok. Nothing awful, nothing great..just kind of there. I figured things out pretty early too. The overall execution just seemed a bit off.

Watched The Guilty on Netflix. Jake Gyllenhaal as a suspended cop working an LAPD 911 center, very tense 90 minutes spent in that call center building. Definitely worth your while.

Ditto. Saw this pop up and was hesitant, but seems like a not so bad way to kill 90 minutes.

Prince of Darkness still owns. Great movie. 4k transfer was nice. Always thought Brian was a sick.
