Typical April weather. It was 74 here yesterday. Could be severe storms especially in Eastern PA with the strong cold front coming through. Actually under a freeze warning tonight and it's already over 60 here. What the **** is this weather, shad?

Oh man, I just checked the radar out west. That is some impressive heavy snow with that front.

I just meant the snow, lol. It was surreal to stand out in the driveway this morning and hear the snow rustling all the green trees.

My yard is covered in snow. Wtf shadFriendly PSA, don't be fooled by the warm weather. Temperatures Thursday to Friday will struggle to get near 40 both days and nighttime lows well below freezing (mid 20s). If you turned on your outdoor spigot to get yard work done, probably want to shut it off until Saturday.
We already have a ton of early season flowers blooming and buds coming out prominently on the trees.

Man, this is one hell of a cold front. We hit our high temperature of 67 degrees at 11:30, and it's already plummeted to 54. Severe line of storms with hail just NE of here.

GFS run for next Saturday. Just a typical early May Nor'easter set up.

Great question meow. Faftorial nails it.Is it going to be 546 degrees? Is that F or C?Who needs warmth?
The 500mb temperatures show the predicted temps at the altitude in which the pressure is 500mb (which is roughly half normal surface pressure). Normally, that's a little over 18,000 feet. Borrowed from Internet.
The 500 mb height actually tells you about the average air temperature in the vertical column of air between the ground surface and 4.6 - 6.0 km (2.9 - 3.8 miles) above sea level. Often this provides a good estimate of how warm or cold the air temperature is near the ground where we live.
