I meant information packets, since she's clearly been riding dirty for a while

Holy crap, sorry meow. I just googled it:Battling roseola. Morale is low In the meow house.
There are two variants of HHV-6 (HHV-6a and HHV-6b) and studies in the US, Europe, Dubai and Japan have shown that exanthema subitum is caused by HHV-6b. This form of HHV-6 infects over 90% of infants by age 2
Our daughter hasn't had it yet, but wow that's a high percentage.
Sending well wishes to you and yours Meow

I'll stop joking here so as not to offend. I'll use it to pivot, though.
When people call me selfish for not having kids, I think of situations like hers. I hope it turns out well for her and the new person she'll probably have to deal with for the next 18+ years, but that level of disregard for consequences seems a lot more selfish than opting out of procreation. It's deeper than that for both of our situations but at least I'm not saddled with a really tough situation.

Apparently it sticks to a strict timeline. 72 hours of a 101-103 fever. The last 24 hours the rash appears. As soon as the fever breaks, he should be back to normal, but keep the rash for 3-5 days. It doesn't itch him, but the fever is causing a big sleep routine disruption.

I think some people take it as couples that don't want kids hate kids. Which is equally as dumb as giving someone crap for not wanting kids in the first place.I'll stop joking here so as not to offend. I'll use it to pivot, though.

The condoms they handed out for free in college were always of a very poor quality. The wrapper always seemed to be covered in dust and a day away from dry rot. Or maybe that's how I remember them after it sat in my wallet for a year.

Took my daughter to her first Pirates game yesterday. We spent more time at the playground in the right field corner than actually watching the game, but she had a blast.

Yesterday, I told Mamba Kaiser Happy Mother's Day. And she said Thank you. I said OK BYE!!!
Then she added, "Hopefully I can say that to you one day."

My 19 month old finally did the "climb out of the crib" trick yesterday afternoon. We figured out she was using her pillow combined with the bumpers to get enough leverage to lift herself up and swing her leg over. Imagine my surprise when I go to wake her from her nap and she's behind the door hiding and giggling hysterically.
We took everything out of her crib except her blanket and that appears to have provided a temporary reprieve, but we just ordered the toddler bed today. She has a nice, large welt on her face from where she ostensibly landed on the carpet.

At what point to people stop using months as a unit of age? mrs. meow and I were thinking at 2 years old. mini meow is currently 16 months old.

Agree on 2. I think months is still relevant prior to that because there is a major change in developmental status over a relatively short period prior to that. It changes fast after too, but months gets a little burdensome at that point. At what point to people stop using months as a unit of age? mrs. meow and I were thinking at 2 years old. mini meow is currently 16 months old.
