This might get me back into video games.

Found some Pittsburgh assets for Cities.
There's also Eat n Park and Primantis and those 2 pizza places everyone says are the best but are average at best. PPG Place comes in 3 different pieces with individual requirements to unlock.
(this city is not Pittsburgh. I just wanted to plop down the tower to see what it looked like)

Probably Beto's and Fiori's

But those places are actually the best.

Now that the Bethesda acquisition is official, a bunch of Bethesda games are now available on Game Pass. I don't know where to start, though.

Weren't almost all of those on Game Pass already?

Some of them are, yes.

Doom Eternal for sure was. I don't know about the others.

Phil Spencer already confirmed that Bethesda is now an Xbox exclusive.
Oh well, with the way things are going to MP, I worry that the next fallout or skyrim game won't be great, and I bet it ends up not being exclusive after they get to PS6 and they're still re-mastering these games.

Small clarification: Bethesda is now exclusive to platforms that have Game Pass, so Xbox and PC. I think software exclusivity is stupid. I also think it's funny that the same Playstation fanboys who mocked the Xbox for not having any exclusives are now crying about Microsoft having exclusives.Morkle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 11:44 am Phil Spencer already confirmed that Bethesda is now an Xbox exclusive.

I dislike the whole idea of exclusivity, and I do believe that gamepass comment was Phil Spencer saying that PS could have it, but that'd never happen in a million years.nocera wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:05 pmSmall clarification: Bethesda is now exclusive to platforms that have Game Pass, so Xbox and PC. I think the major loser here is Bethesda, they signed exclusive rights, cut half their revenue going forward. I think that model is just weird to the shareholders of the future. For companies that weren't exclusive already.
Also, I do think XBOX needed exclusives - but I've never been a huge loyalist to Bethesda so I don't personally care, but their games recently haven't been great, and they've been basically pushing the same model that Rockstar has with GTA. Just keep re-producing Fallout 4 and Skyrim, and anything new hasn't really done that great.

I don't like the idea of exclusivity either, but like Morkle...Bethesda doesn't move the needle for me.
The big reason I've been a playstation guy is because the exclusives they do have (mostly single player adventure games) are the type of games that I want to play and am into. I wouldn't get to play those games unless I has a playstation and hence why I've always been on that side of the console aisle.
It would be nice though if every system had every game, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Yeah, ultimately Microsoft would love if Game Pass came to Playstation. No way that happens though. I guess my point was that the games will be on PC as well, so if you have a PS5 and a PC, you're not entirely left out. Microsoft knows that they aren't going to win the hardware race against Sony anytime soon. They have been pushing Game Pass more than Xbox and I imagine they will continue to acquire more and more publishers as a way to drive users to Game Pass. They don't seem to care if you're accessing GP through a PC or Xbox.
It's great seeing the trend of cross platform play. I hope that continues and I hope that software exclusives become a thing of the past eventually as well. That said, I'm looking forward to getting a PS5 in 5 years or so to catch up on all the exclusives I've missed out on.

Crossplay is the only thing I care about. It's stupid for the games that aren't exclusive and if they're multiplayer, absolutely they should be able to play between both systems. That's really what I'm hoping expands here in the next few years.

There's gotta be like 20,000 hours of gameplay total for the games on that list, if not more.

I have $25 rewards I have to use at best buy in next 3 days. I'm probably going to use it on skyward sword preorder, but anyone think of any other switch games that are fun and coming out soon?

What's the latest on PS5 acquisition? My uncle is going nuts trying to get one at retail.
