Randomness Dos

In my experience it's not an Indian food smell. More of an Indian dude smell.
I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing (everyone living on top of each other, and they get used to it) or what. I'm inclined to think it is, because I have a couple Indian friends that went to college here and work here, and there's never any trace of it. And they eat plenty of curry.
My wife used to work at CMU with the new students. Their orientation included a thing about personal hygiene, including how to properly use American toilets (complete with signs in the bathrooms). I guess it's just a cultural thing that they eventually adjust to here.

@skullman80

Glad there were no blockages.

It does sound like she needs to take better care of herself. But as you said, you can only do so much for her to get her on the right path.

My dad had 7 bypasses and 2 stents (after 2 of the arteries became blocked again), but actually lived 23 years after all that because he took very good care of himself.

And then he ended up dying of mesothelioma.
Heart disease runs in my family on my moms side. My grandma(mom's mom) had a triple bypass. My uncle(moms brother) died of heart issues. Grandfather had heart/lung issues(my mom's dad) though that was largely in part to smoking a pipe all of his life. You would think she would want to take better care of herself with the history the family has. She had a similar event about 15 months ago and you would think that would have been a wake up call. It was for about 2 months.. then it was back to how she was. Hopefully this time she really gets that she needs to take better care of herself.

I had a slice of pizza (one of the 2 or 3 I eat per year) of lunch and then my men's league game was postponed tonight...while I'm happy about that because WJCs and Pens are on...but I would have skipped the 'za...not that it's a big deal...but the timing of it was not at all ideal...

Had a sad sack excuse for pizza for lunch. You might think that it would be impossible for a pizza cooked in a wood fired oven to be soggy... But you would be wrong.

I am now a sad panda.

You cannot credibly refute the former whilst asserting the latter.

Our Mikey is not a communist. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a communist, but he is *not* a porn star!
