If batters could adjust their gloves a few more times there would be less TJ.

I was thinking this. Glad to see there's supporting data.
The reason it's such a big deal this year is because it's big names.

hahahha I love how outraged the commentators are
the circumstances about how the ump union is so strong are so annoying. Dude is obviously a bad look for the game

There's a clip of Skenes asking for a replay on one of his pitches. He taps his hat, and the replay video starts like in tennis. He got it overruled, and it was a strike 3 call. Evidently, he did it twice yesterday. Both successful challenges and from pitch to overturn, it was like 20 seconds.

Strider surgery confirmed.
Sorry, not sorry. My orioles/braves ws match up bet is crushed. But I’m sick of hearing how great the braves are.
I hope someone resurfaces those spring training clips of strider’s new pitch and folks being like “lookout league, strider has a curveball now”

This is why we need a fully automated balls and strikes. Thank you.My only beef is if an ump isn't giving say, low and outside corner all day, and a batter lays off one, and the pitcher paints one and challenges it late. Would seem a little iffy imo
