Really high potential for severe weather tomorrow, including the possibility of tornadoes in the area. Highest chance in SE Ohio and WV, but still a chance in W PA as well

In a later tweet, NWS said this is the first "moderate" risk day we've had since 2014

Over three inches of rain since Easter here. Added bonus of high winds today to help knock the trees over.

I still dredge up paperwork from files with the Narrows Run address on it from time to time. My predecessors had strange ideas on what should be filed away.
My favorite was when I dug up an old file folder with a floppy disk and a DOS printout that hasn't been relevant for 25+ years. Apparently no one else ever went through the files.

About 20 years ago we cleaned out the old power plant in South Heights. It had closed in 1986. The time capsule **** we dug up in there was remarkable.

Only one entrance to my neighborhood and it's flooded. Creek now flowing over the bridge and pouring down the road.

The boulevard closure has me going a different route on the final leg of my office commute. I've known about this alternative route for a while but never had the cause to take it. Didn't realize it takes you past the Pittsburgh NWS center.
