I was told this morning "it's on the list". Now if people still give a **** in two years when the CBA is up we'll see, but as KC the upper middle class owners have had enough and have been around long enough to have more influence.

Didn’t we think the last cba would be a game changer? And didn’t it up being a giant wet fart for small market teams?

also tbh it remains to be seen if the Dodgers are actually going to be any good anyway. Lest we forget that we had to watch a Diamondbacks-Rangers world series this year. Baseball, despite not having a salary cap, also shows that sometimes good teams can easily lose in the playoffs

Almost like a sport that relies heavily on timing becomes more difficult when your team sits for a week while other teams/wild cards play to face you.

in the regular season, yeah. But does anyone want to say with confidence that they’ll definitely be in the World Series? Of course notspoiler alert, they'll be goodalso tbh it remains to be seen if the Dodgers are actually going to be any good anyway.
this isn’t the same thing as a Manchester City getting a bunch of oil money and turning into a beast

College baseball starts up in 3 weeks. LOTS of activity on campus in the batting cages. PING! PING! PING! Sounds great imo.

If I ever strike it rich I may seriously consider building my own indoor cage even though I’m old and don’t play anymore. I would never get bored with taking cuts in a cage

Good to see the O’s took the pirates playbook of a decade ago and did the exact opposite.

The Angelos family bought the Orioles for $173 million way back when. They just sold their part of it to an investment group with an Orioles fan billionaire at the top for $1.7 billion. Not a bad ROI. Cal RIpken Jr and Grant Hill are in on the deal too.
