Actually looking at the improvements in the results from 2010 to 2018, if we can continue on those in 2024 it would be a good measure of the quality of our board cleanse

Both variant spellings are pretty much the same age—that is, very old. The a variant is more commom in AmEng and the e variant is more comment in BrEng, but neither would be wrong.

I use both, and I always question which one I'm "supposed" to be using. I don't think I have any rhyme or reason to when I use which one, either.

if i'm being professional i use gray. but privately i use grey. i think grey is pretentious but i like it
