Birkenstocks: yea or nay?
I was always a nay guy but I think my mind is changing. Curious on the responses here

I tried them on for the first time last weekend at grove city outlets. They weren't like pillows on my feet, but they did feel nice. But weird.

If I can get a non shoe item on my feet that are a. secure and b. comfortable, I don't really care how dumb they look

love mine. I bought my first pair 5 years ago when I was having achilles issues. I bought a new pair last Fall in Destin because I finally accepted that the pair I had was a size too big.
for the record, i never wear them with socks.

It's just weird that she never, ever wears sneakers. She is also pretty heavyset so I think Birkenstocks are popular for that reason (support).

The older I get, the less I care about my looks or fashion (not that I ever really did to begin with) and more about comfort... I am growing up.

Note: I do not own any birkenstocks nor any crocs.

My work shoes:

And my from time to time shoes are Hey Dudes... it's not a shoe. It's a lifestyle. Or I think that's what the box they came in said.

I'm with you on the Crocs but what's wrong with Birks? they're just sandals. when I'm out and about at night or on weekends, what am I supposed to wear?
