Jon Levy is garbage and I hate him. Humorous article from a guy who doesn't appear to work in an office.

Or being able to exclude co-workers you don't like from your Friday pizza run. Oh, wait, that'll cost you $32,000 + court costs these days.

Office life won't be any different for me. Been going in 3x a week since last fall. Even at full capacity and no pandemic, it's a ghost town here. Corporate moved its offices downtown and an entire division moved to South Carolina. All we have left are a few engineers, customer service, and manufacturing support. We have room for 150-200 office personnel but have about 30 people in offices.

It's the floor pissing for me. How many dudes just casually piss on the floor is mystifying. I can see it happening at a bar, but a place of work?shafnutz05 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 7:12 amThis is one of the more relevant things I'm dreading.King Colby wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 9:07 pm I miss going to take my morning dump and finding that a grown man pissed all over the toilet seat

We have a chronic non-flusher amongst us. Even after dropping a deuce.
So gross.
The really good thing - and I don't know how long this will last - but we at least have our custodians cleaning the restrooms twice a day.

All of our urinals and toilets are auto flushers, so that was never an issue, thankfully.

These don't always work and never seem to get fixed, lol. One of the commodes in my building's restroom is an auto and you have to push the manual button every damn time. Bowl is always full of piss.

They spent a lot of money renovating our bathrooms the year before Covid, and these actually worked quite well.
That said, I prefer the porcelain throne in my master bathroom.

Six years of being a road tech has made me indifferent to where I rest my ass.NTP66 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:15 amThey spent a lot of money renovating our bathrooms the year before Covid, and these actually worked quite well.

Yeah, but those days are over, no? Time to 'settle down' and find your preferred throne...Kane wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:16 amSix years of being a road tech has made me indifferent to where I rest my ass.NTP66 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:15 amThey spent a lot of money renovating our bathrooms the year before Covid, and these actually worked quite well.

We have been seeing a large increase in passwords being compromised from outside of our network at work recently. In fact, I was told that my creds were used over the weekend, and my password had to be reset in the middle of the night. That caused a shitstorm on Monday for me, but nobody has been able to actually validate - to me, at least - that the attempts were successful. These are all coming from Korea and other areas around there.

This just made me realize that we haven't had to change our password since WFH started last March. Prior to Covid, we changed passwords every 90 days.NTP66 wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:24 am We have been seeing a large increase in passwords being compromised from outside of our network at work recently. Our InfoSec team is absurd right now. Everything is a high priority alert, and we have to react accordingly.

I created my work network password in July 2007, my first day of work.
Should I update it or nah?

I keep the same password and just update the number at the end. I got to 23.
