There is a ton of money to be made off of their idiocy.

I think I'd go with San Diego. Warm all year and no humidity.

There were at least a dozen people there yesterday browsing. It's brilliant, tbh. The markup has to be significant.
There’s a dude on 30 near Bedford that sells the same stuff. I’m guessing its all made in chy-na. These guys meet Kenneth t kangaroo’s #1 rule of business: The best businesses are the ones that prey on peoples emotions.

I can’t imagine retiring somewhere I can’t leave the house for 3 months if the year. And keep in mind I lived in NY for 24 years
Same. Once my daughter goes to college, we're gone. I intend to never have to wear pants or a jacket ever again.

As much as I love the idea of remote, I would prioritize warm weather.

Maybe Florida gulf coast from October to March and then some sprawling acreage up north from April to September.

Guess I better start making more money.

2 wooded acres in PA in an area where people aren’t social deviants is fine for me. I don’t really want to leave where I am. 100 acres in Wyoming where id strongly dislike most people around me and it would take an hour to get to a decent shopping center. Pass.

There's a great restaurant in Glen Mills. Terrain. Go there for brunch.

We are definitely looking Gulf Coast. Never want to shovel again and I hate the cold.

I've thought a bit about retirement. I don't think I'd like places like Florida or Arizona because I hate hot weather. I'd like the weather in San Francisco, for example, but there's no way in hell I'm ever moving to California (or any other state bluer than PA). Golf doesn't interest me (the only golf courses I've ever played had windmills on them), so I don't see myself in one of those communities. What I would be interested in is a retirement community where instead of a golf course, it's built around a shooting club with rifle, pistol, trap, skeet, and sporting-clays ranges.

I'm not sure how much I'd be willing to spend a lot of time around people losing their facilities while also using guns

There are guys at my sportsmen's club who are in their 70s and older who could wipe the floor with me on the trap or skeet ranges.
