I don’t think I know the proper way anymore, sadly. I would have to see a slideshow on how it’s done.It sucks when you learn the "best practice" way to do something for your job but run into a boss that likes thinks done *their* way that is completely and mind numbingly stupidly opposite, thus that is what you now have to do...sigh..Our CTSO will not accept PowerPoint presentations unless there is a wall of detailed text explaining things. She's the sole reason why all of us cringe whenever we hear the word "PowerPoint".holy **** it's incredible how bad people are at making presentations. I'm in a leadership development program at my work and we're doing final presentations. Some people have literal paragraphs of text in their powerpoint slides

The case of Long Island woman Gabby Petito’s disappearance has reignited theories about a “zone of death” in Yellowstone National Park where a murderer could get off scot-free.
Petito last called her family from Grand Teton National Park, which neighbors Yellowstone National Park — where a glitch in the Constitution could make a 50-mile strip of land the perfect place to get away with murder.
A 2005 academic paper titled “The Perfect Crime” by Michigan State University law professor Brian Kalt suggests “there is a 50-square-mile swath of Idaho in which one might be able to commit felonies with impunity.”
The entire Yellowstone National Park falls under the federal judicial district of Wyoming, including an uninhabited small strip of land behind the Idaho state border now known as the “zone of death.”

Is this the "there is no federal murder charge" thing?

Kinda trivial, but the our neighborhood group planned to have a bbq tomorrow. Today, one can’t go because of a baseball game, and another family (daughter’s best friend) isn’t showing up until 4pm because they want to watch the Eagles game. I’m missing one of the few Steelers games that is actually broadcasted because everyone else said the time worked for them. Flakes.

3 lane intersection at a light. Left lane, left turn only. Center lane, through traffic only. Right lane, through traffic and right turn. As a courtesy I’m going to use the center lane on a red light, however if there are several cars deep in that lane I’m going to use the right lane and block it for turning traffic going right on red as is perfectly legal.
We have one intersection nearby where turning traffic will honk at you if you are going straight in the right lane, blocking it for right on red. Happened to me one day and someone else while I was in the center lane the next day. Hey write PennDot and recommend they consider making it a right turn only lane, but till then keep your horn to yourself!

if there’s enough room for the car to pull ahead a little and let me through I’ll politely honk just as a “hey can you do me a solid?”
If there isn’t room I won’t though

So many people won't turn right on red if there's a right turn signal sign

People who actually state that they are missing/being late for an event due to a regular season NFL game need to be permanently disinvited from everything.Kinda trivial, but the our neighborhood group planned to have a bbq tomorrow. Come up with some excuse that's not insulting.

Would have been fine had they not said okay beforehand, then flaked out the day of. But yeah, I agree.People who actually state that they are missing/being late for an event due to a regular season NFL game need to be permanently disinvited from everything.Kinda trivial, but the our neighborhood group planned to have a bbq tomorrow. screw that. no shame in telling people you'd rather watch a football game than go to a bbq

I completely disagree with this. How is lying preferable?People who actually state that they are missing/being late for an event due to a regular season NFL game need to be permanently disinvited from everything.Kinda trivial, but the our neighborhood group planned to have a bbq tomorrow. I do agree that it would've been preferable if they had told you about the game before accepting the invite NTP. I never accept plans on Sunday afternoons because I know I'll be watching football
