More evidence that MLB is not worth paying attention to.I saw another tweet stating the Padres would use Frazier in a super utility role, including all three outfield positions. Must be nice to have the MLB hits leader as a utility player. The Padres infield seems kinda full though so this one surprised me a bit

Interesting development. And that dude is probably an angry nitter who is calling Lonnie “garbage”.

The Miliano guy must be a project, the other two are interesting though. Suwinski they drafted out of high school in 2016, he was moving level to level, but not very impressively through 2019. But this improvement from 2019 to 2021 is crazy, he looks like a power hitter now, will definitely be looking at what he does at Altoona the rest of the year.Suwinski appears to have solid power numbers in AA at age 22. Includes a .949 OPS in 250ish PAs.
Miliano is 21 and playing A-ball. Looks like he strikes out a million guys but walks a half million.
Marcano, also 21, has actually seen 50 PAs in San Diego this year, and hit really well in AAA. 200PAs 27BB 25K. Nice.
Marcano looks like a Kevin Newman type, contact hitter, doesn't strike out, hits for no power. Maybe he fills out some and starts hitting the ball harder, or maybe that is accounting for his better numbers at AAA this year. But, could also be an offense friendly league.
I wasn't expecting an impressive return, so this tracks, kind of why I kept falling back to "maybe don't trade him".

Isn't Marcano the one that got called up to the majors due to injuries and was abysmal?

Sorry if i read it here but a shame he's a speedster but reportedly has poor baserunning smarts and i read gets picked off a bunch
I don't mind the getting picked off really but lack of situational awareness we've seen often doesn't improve with time. Surprises me with faster players

I wasn't saying he's a bad prospect or anything, I just knew one of them went up and had a rough time.

Leaves $169,800 in the over slot buffer. PBN reported that Kellington had agreed to a deal before he was drafted but had to wait as the process played out, so I can't imagine him getting much more than slot, meaning there is still a shot at getting Bishop (or Corona).

They kinda killed it with this draft strategy. Now let's just hope they got the right guys, and figure out how to develop them.

Context being, two top 7 picks and an off-season fire sale will do that to every farm system
