Those Coke Freestyle machines with dozens of flavors are very finicky, evidently. Much like a color printer with all the different color cartridges.

They're also a sanitation nightmare... not so much due to people touching stuff, but the internal workings of them. Very gross.

I usually run Dasani Seltzer or plain water through if for like 15 seconds before I fill up. I doubt it does anything but it makes me feel good.

the raspberry cheesecake cookies are worth every point they add to my glucose level. The sandos are kind of tragic, but sign me up for some fresh-from-the-oven white choc mac nut cookies.Their cookies are still absolute tops.

Had Arby's Brisket and Bacon "flatbread" for lunch. It actually was pretty solid... But it is now wreaking absolute havoc on my innards.

So I had to run to the store quick to grab some stuff to do some baking on my day off. Yeah, I bake… sue me.
Decided to give the Wendy’s breakfast a go. They have a 2 for $4 deal on sandwiches so I got the honey chicken biscuit and a sausage egg and cheese croissant. As far as breakfast fast food sandwiches go, the sausage McGriddle is my favorite I’ve tried. The honey chicken biscuit is right there with it and maybe eeks it out a touch. The croissant sandwich was also very good. 9/10. Would recommend the Wendy’s breakfast. No clue on the potatoes.

I agree with 99% of this - still think the sausage McGriddle is a little better, though. FWIW, the potatoes are outstanding. Get them next time.So I had to run to the store quick to grab some stuff to do some baking on my day off. Yeah, I bake… sue me.

I keep trying but i hate Wendy's breakfast sandwiches. The only one that's ok to me is the bacon egg croissant. But their potatoes are so great. And when hot the sausage egg and cheese burritos are incredible with picante sauce.
Sausage mcgriddle is the best sandwich still followed by bacon mcgriddle then those 2 with biscuits and cheese then them with bagels. Then Wendy's sandwiches

I'm glad someone bumped this thread, because I've got a rant.
So my wife and I went out to a local concert Saturday night. My youngest son, slept until noon, didn't eat lunch until 3 and didn't want anything before we went out. So we'd promised him Wendy's on the way home from the concert. So at 8:25, I get out to the car and pull up Wendy's app. I order him a 4 for 4 crispy chicken sandwich combo. The app says the restaurant is open for takeout, dine-in, and drive-through. Great. We drive over there, and is usually the case, the drive-through is wrapped out into the road. 10+ cars. Fine, I'll go in and get the food. Nope, the door is locked - lobby is closed. It's 8:35. I cancel the order.
I decide to get him Zaxby's, which is a few doors down. I order via the app and head over. Drive through is wrapped around the building. I wait until 8:50 to go in to get the food...and the doors are locked. The sign says the lobby is open until 9. But there are people inside, eating and waiting for food. So I wait until one of these customers leaves so I can get the food. The staff ignores me at first, but I finally walk out through the locked door with my food at 8:58.
I know there is a labor shortage, and it's just like these places have given up trying to provide decent service, particularly at night when the GM isn't there.

As far as Wendy's breakfast goes, I love the potatoes. My favorite sandwich is the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. But sometimes the biscuit can be a bit dry which sucks. I do not like their croissants at all. I think a lot of the issue is that they put Swiss instead of American on those and it doesn't work for me in that application.
I will say that Mcds biscuit game is superior. Wendy's sausage on the mcds biscuit w Wendy's potatoes would be awesome.
I don't think I ever actually tried a mcgriddle now that I think about it.
I recently tried BK's Breakfast King, sausage version and that was a solid effort. The hash Browns tasted off though, probably the grease they used.

I don’t like the McMuffin biscuits, though they’re my wife’s favorite. The McGriddle dough with the maple flavor is perfect.

So with all this talk about mcgriddles, I decided it was high time that I try one, so I got the sausage variety and I have to say, that isn't too shabby at all. It's definitely not something I would go to on a regular basis, but it's definitely an interesting change up.

i pretty much will never ever eat at McDonalds. Except for a mcgriddle in the AM. It's a great breakfast option. Usually when I have an early tee time and I'll grab one for the ride.. Which then presents another challenge when I get to the course/locker room
