This could go into the 'no stupid questions' thread, but what exactly is a Tory? I see it on Twitter a lot from the Brits I know, but have never looked into it.Source of the post Punk rock was more anti GOP/Tories, at least when I listened back then.

Being serious for a second, but I don't remember so much intergenerational strife in the past but maybe because of the internet.
The boomers. The cycle will forever repeat, but the boomers were the young that blamed the older ones on their woes before while being told they were stupid and lazy. The millennials don't know they will be the ones doing the same thing in 30 years. Boomers know better.
I'm sure the internet made it 1000000000000000x worse like a bunch of things. My favorite line from Men in Black I think applies to the internet: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it."
I mean boomers would have been saying the generation from the great depression caused all their woes, which probably holds more water than the millennials claiming that today, .
I'm sure there was same strife, but those people only had their neighbors to complain to, haha.

Maggie Thatcher was a Tory. Conservative party in the UK.This could go into the 'no stupid questions' thread, but what exactly is a Tory? Some punk rockers were known to be pro-Thatcher.

This is one of the most boomer things ever saidYeah, we didn't look to blame another generation for our poor decisions.Don’t “bro” me you whippersnapper!I love that boomers still think anyone in their early 20s is a millennial... Bro, we're in our 30's trying to buy houses, pay off student loans you told us we had to take out, and maybe one day have kids. We can't be bothered with what acronyms in texting mean.

That is correct. As a millennial, I do not blame the generation of the great depression for our generation's woes.Source of the post I mean boomers would have been saying the generation from the great depression caused all their woes, which probably holds more water than the millennials claiming that today, .

Update on this. Apparently the tiger "owner" was wanted for murder.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/tiger-owner-w ... d=77599759
The tiger is unaccounted forThe tiger's owner, identified by police as Victor Hugo Cuevas, 26, was taken into custody Monday night, according to the Houston Police Department. Cuevas allegedly fled the scene with the tiger Sunday night just as police were arriving. Police said Cuevas was charged Monday afternoon with felony evading police.
During an earlier news conference, Houston Police Commander Ron Borza said Cuevas was previously arrested in July 2020 and charged with murder stemming from a 2017 fatal shooting outside a sushi restaurant in Fort Bend County, Texas. He was free on $250,000 bail.

Yeah... the pandemic has certainly shown the difference between the haves and the have nots. More so than what was already apparent. These celebrities are not real people.

These are great. The second part of the first video makes it even better, the ridiculous story about the bonsai tree.

Anyone know what the PA lottery is up to? I went to grab another Gatorade today and I got 3 for 1 this time. The vending machine in our break room dropped an extra Gatorade for me. Feels good, man.

Gun to my head, House 3. Probably have to sit through a lot of Dead to get to the Floyd, though.
