Yup. "All employees will need to show proof of vaccination if they want to start/continue employment with the company."Wow. You mean they have to get vaccinated in order to stay employed there at all? That's rough.

wouldn't you still be able to claim a religious exemption even if the vaccines aren't under emergency use?

My company has stated that you may recommend that employees get it but you can’t ask if they have.

Starting Monday, employees here can start coming back to the office as they wish after consulting with their manager. The announcement said that all employees will be required to come back onsite at some point in mid June, and the exact date will be finalized when the new order is released from the Wolf admin. Essentially everyone is coming back in June, but they're waiting to see what the rules are before they bring everyone back.

We're merging the two engineering locations back together sometime this month, with the addition of plexiglass shields to separate the two desks on the long end of our dogbone setup and a new air filtration system.
The Varsity stayed in the mezzanine office while the JV team had to setup desks in our training center.

Please keep us posted. As far I am aware, since the vaccines are under emergency use, this is not legal.
While there are issues of ADA compliance in terms of having to offer reasonable accommodations, it is not per se prohibited for en employer to require the jab as a condition for employment. That the vaccines are currently under emergency authorizations is not controlling. The EEOC has a FAQ on this topic (the third link below), and the first two links are commentary on the topic. The prohibition on requiring emergency-authorization vaccines appears to apply to the government forcing people to take it, such as a state issuing an order that everyone has to get the vaccine. But private employers are not prohibited from requiring vaccination.

My firm has requested that everyone get vaccinated. It's not strictly required, at least as of yet. I do know that a whole bunch of us have already been vaccinated.
More than 24 hours past shot 2, I'm maybe a little tired, and there's some arm soreness, but not too much. I don't feel all that bad at all.

We were encouraged to get vaccinated and no one without a vaccination is allowed to travel. Everyone on the team is expected to travel at least once a year to a customer site, so this basically requires vaccination without mandating it. Everyone on the team has their second shot but me at this point.
Manager has approved a hybrid model for me. Most of our local team (80%) has been onsite throughout the pandemic and the rest of us are now doing 1-2 days a week starting this past month. Looks like I can continue doing the hybrid system long term, which I am looking forward to.
