As much as Gostisbehere ought to get something else for that board, rather it not be a suspension at this point - Flyers with two against the Caps we need a full Flyers team out there.

good. Friedman already dunked on the open net and was going full speed when Gostisbehere unnecessarily shoved him from behind

but if the Tom Wilson stuff is any indication, he'll be fined $25

It deserves a suspension. Give him one. He isn’t any good anyway. Let him sit against the caps.

Taking out any NHL precedent or "rules" we know. Why is that an okay hit?

I don't think it's okay, but I also don't know that it was enough for a suspension. Conversely, if he was suspended one game, I wouldn't call it unfair.

when Friedman crashed into the boards I audibly yelped and was worried he'd have a bad leg injury

albeit he got up right after and seems fine but that was a super dangerous play and obviously had intent to injure imo. There's no reason for him to make that hit otherwise
