I think he's punishing us for trying to get him cancelled.

That looks absolutely horrible.

Forgot all about that. On top of having a really bad date, poor guy had it blasted all over the internet.I think he's punishing us for trying to get him cancelled.
I'm passing on season 3 as well. She was a fine supporting character, but I didn't watch Master of None for Denise. That show is all about Dev and Arnold.

Animated version of A Different World, then.

I finished watching the The Pacific last night. It was absolutely incredible. I think I had somewhat lower expectations for it because everything that I read before watching said that it wasn't as good as Band of Brothers. While I would still agree with that, I was blown away by how good it was.

Yeah, it really was very good. Not near BoB, but very close. I hope the Mighty Eighth is good, which I believe has started production.

I just re-watched both series and I agree, both are great. The Pacific never gets the love it deserves because it's always compared to BoB but it stands on its own as a fantastic series. BoB benefited from having, essentially, one source material whereas Pacific was pieced together from a few different books/recount. Because of that it feels a bit more disjointed. The Pacific mirrors the actual Pacific theater. It's more brutal, it's more erratic, their goals are confusing at times, their enemy is a mystery and faceless for the most part. The tone of each show matches the different fronts of the war.I finished watching the The Pacific last night. It was absolutely incredible. By the way, Masters of Air finally started production last week.

Re: The Pacific
I never finished it when it was airing. It was a much slower burn than BoB and I couldn't get past that. I want to give it another try though.
Also, "And recover...."

The final couple episodes of The Pacific are as good as anything in BOB, but it has lower lows.I just re-watched both series and I agree, both are great. Give it another try. It is fantastic. Like others said, doesn't match BOB, but it's still great. I read with the Old Breed after and then rewatched again and it brings so much more.Re: The Pacific

Just finished watching Batman the Animated Series and the New Adventures of Batman with my daughter. She loved it so much. We just started The Batman cartoon last night. She just sits there going "what the heck" because the animation is so different. But she loves it.
I love that she loves these shows that I loved when I was younger. We also finished all the X-Men animated series (X-Men, X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men) last fall.

Hmm. Rauch plays Harry Anderson’s daughter in this. I didn’t know/remember that Anderson died a few years ago.
And Richard Moll is out (at least back in 2013 when ambushed by TMZ in a parking garage lol) https://www.tmz.com/2013/01/23/night-co ... ion-video/

So reboots normally rely on name recognition and older fans returning. Night Court has neither.

I just pretended that Dan Fielding and Carl Sack (but not Joey Heric) were the same person, so I have kinda already done this reboot.

The Tina Turner documentary on HBO was very good. I guess I hadn't realized that Tina was in her mid-forties when she had that run of big hits in the mid-80s. That's remarkable, especially back then.
An interesting tidbit is that the documentary actually used Ike and Tina's old house in LA, which is empty and has most of the custom furniture they had made for it when they moved in. It was interesting seeing home videos and then seeing the actual heart-shaped bed or same kitchen appliances from the 1960s. It's like a time capsule, and evidently was used as a set for the biopic with Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne back in the early 90s.
