I enjoyed running around with my friends... it was just something to do.
you mean when you were little? after 6th grade or so, this doesn't really track in organized leagues

Yeah... when I was little. Right around 6th or 7th grade I gave up on organized baseball, around that time gave up basketball all together, really only played organized soccer after that, and even then I was just doing it because I liked hanging out with my friends. Of course I loved the sport, but I wasn't really all that good. I just liked hanging out with that group of guys.

Dude just saw your post... Congratulations!! Best wishes for a speedy and healthy delivery.

And yes, we had a woman down the hall have a very loud delivery. My wife barely made a sound.

Being a dad is the easiest thing ever. But I guess it’s also the hardest thing ever. So maybe it’s the most average difficulty thing ever.

Delivery room was an adrenaline induced blur the first time around. 28 hours of labor. I basically don't remember any of it.

2nd time it was a walk in the park.

Note - this is from the perspective of the person not doing any of the work.

Lol.

Thanks people. Made his arrival at 1:26 this morning. Right as we went to bed around one the previous morning my wife went “Hmm that felt different. Wonder if this is it.” That feeling had continued to when she woke me up at 5:30 AM. My big plans to sleep in one last time this weekend were severely ruined. Just over 24 hours of labor, the wonder of an epidural, and just under 30 minutes of pushing and here were are. I’m very tired.

Congrats!

My ex had a similar Labor. Once the epidural was given she went from 3cm to pushing in 30 minutes. Pushed twice. She also broke my finger squeezing my hand.

Congrats! My wife was induced, and start to finish it took 19 hours to get to maybe 30 minutes of pushing. Process is crazy, but so exciting to be a part of.

Real question, did you look during birth? I did, totally wild.
