I imagine there will be a sell-off near close, so if you're going to take some time in the next 20-30 minutes would be best.

I’m up 50% on ABML. Really like the stock. It’s taking a lot for me to not sell and take my gains, but I think there’s room to grow.

Bought a nice chunk of BTC last night when it dropped below $50k...

I'm gonna hold F until it gets above 12.50 I think...

Yeah, if F holds over 12.20 into Monday morning I'm going to need over 12.50 to make my play worth it.

Took my 7.5% gain on F and plan to have myself a pretty damn nice Saturday of golfing and gambling.

Also that's the largest I ever went in on a position so I didn't have the sack to hodl over the weekend.

F jumped up and consolidated in the $12.30s and DKNG is dropping like a rock. My guess is I'll find a good entry on the latter and not even get to play with F this week. Bummer.

DKNG: Really proud of my trades today. It wasn't my biggest haul ever (I had one other trade shoot-up when I wasn't looking and didn't have a profit bracket set), but it was my most technically sound. Waited for the dip after the opening frenzy, bought $.10 above the low price for the day ($57.69). Then I set a profit exit ($58.93) that ended up being two-cents below the high for the day (so far). 2.15% take and now I'm done trading until Wednesday or Thursday.

And yes, NTP66, those cents are both on purpose. ;)

Just to highlight it's been a pretty fabulous day, that sale executed while I was setting a 30 minute PR on my Peloton.

How do you determine your exit point when you're doing this?

I look at what the resistance has been for the last week. What levels the stock has typically stalled trying to get through more than once. Then I pick something just under that. Because I'm not trying to hold very long I don't want to sit and wait for investor sentiment to change enough to break through that. It's almost more important to wait for the correct low entry so you don't have to have it go as high to make your number.
That's why I walked away from F today. It's trading, and consolidated, above its resistance. So it doesn't have anywhere to go. I have to go all the way back to early April to find it trading higher than it is today. I think F will get back to that early April number, eventually, but I'm trying to get into and out of a stock ASAP since I'm taking 1%-2% gains. But I'm reinvesting those funds and getting my balance up so my window to make those gains is getting smaller, which is awesome. If I set a target of $500 on a trade, my entry and exits can be closer together (more conservative) to make the trade work. That's what has been so good about DKNG, it has high volume and is volatile without moving out of that $54-$62 space. I've been printing money with it.

Are you going to hold through the earnings? I was wrong in my assessment about this week's pre-call movement. Did not expect it to move up $.30/share pre-call.

It's going to be a photo finish...if I can eclipse 12.50 before the call, I'll probably pull the trigger there. If I can't, I'll roll the dice through the call and see if I get even luckier...

Didn't find an entry I liked anywhere so I waited for F to dip to $12.40 and jumped in there. mikey, did you take when it ran to $12.60? Really don't know what to expect from the earnings call; TSLA had a call earlier in the week and despite good numbers the stock tumbled 3%. UPS jumped 10% on their call and buoyed that whole sector. Anything can happen.
If it runs at the end of the day (unlikely) I might just get out then. Anything over $12.57 is gravy.

TSLA has been like an EKG the last few weeks. Up 30, down 25, up 15, down 30.

And apparently AMC is trending on twitter. I guess that's the new short squeeze.

Got caught up in meetings in the morning and missed the run to 12.60. Got out at 12.53. Technically, because of an odd lease structure, this 8-day trade paid my NYC rent for the month...

I've been working really hard on entries, so I'm going to brag about this one from this morning:

That's surgically precise right there.
