So Dr Strange 2 was supposed to come out this spring? I saw a poster and it said May 2021, but the release is now listed as 2022. WandaVision was definitely supposed to lead into that film, judging by the poster.
Like nocera said, I had no expectations for the show, but it ended up being one of the better Marvel shows/productions outside of Endgame.
So Black Widow is up next this May? Or has that been delayed again?

Yea everything got kind of bumped a year.
Black Widow - May 2020 to May 2021 (so far)
Shang-Chi - February 2021 to May 2021 to July 2021
Eternals - November 2020 to February 2021 to November 2021
Spider-Man - July 2021 to November 2021 to December 2021
Doctor Strange 2 - May 2021 to November 2021 to March 2022
I wonder why they made the decision to no longer have Eternals come before Shang-Chi. 2022 is currently shaping up as Doctor Strange 2 (March), Thor 4 (May), Black Panther 2 (July), Captain Marvel 2 (November), and Ant-Man 3 (potentially an undisclosed October date listed for an MCU movie), which I could see getting moved just due to the bloat. GOTG3 is on schedule for 2023.
Be interesting to see where they take things with the movies. Tom Holland is out of contract after the next Spider-Man movie, Chadwick Boseman died, Hemsworth could have the Chris Evans disease at this point, GOTG is great but doesn't necessarily have an "Avengers leader" character, and the rest of the slate is either good side pieces or new and unfamiliar characters. Don't know that I necessarily see a headliner in there.

I enjoyed the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (hereby known as FAWS). It's definitely going to be much more of a standard Marvel story than Wanda but that's okay. The action scenes in the first episode are crazy and on par with anything in the movies.

Slipped my mind this morning. I think I'll wait like I did with WandaVision so I can watch daily.

Falcon and Bucky show was pretty good. Action was A+, that opening scene was so cool. Storyline of falcon being poor isn't so good, I don't buy that for a minute.

It’s an interesting angle, though. Of the normal humans in the Avengers, how do they earn a living? Stark was a billionaire. Bruce Banner was a scientist. Sam Wilson was an Air Force officer, now retired. It’s a legit plot point. Curious to see where the Bucky storyline goes.
Bosch fans will recognize Grace Billets as his shrink, too.

Sure it's an interesting plot, but he has a billion dollar toy on his back, so I had a tough time getting past he couldn't get a loan.

He also had to fix it himself, in an outdoor cafe in Tunisia. No trillion dollar lab to fix it in.

Haha, that's true. They really went all out with the action, I was thoroughly impressed. I was not a fan of the falcon going into this, but it's easily the best the character has been.

If he’s a retired officer and he’s poor he did, and is actively continuing to do, something very wrong with his money.

The bank officer alluded to this, but it looks like post Blip finances are messed up. I would imagine his Air Force pension might be gone or frozen. And then compound that with 100+ million people coming back after five years...
What a thing to be discussing in a Marvel thread.

Nice. Yo ho yo ho. The $30 premiere access is probably a great deal for families. For two people, I'd end up spending more than I would at the theater.

Hmm. Wonder what happens to Shang-Chi, which is also supposed to be a July release.

Add-ons for streaming services are dumb.

It was moved to September 3, 2021. Looks like it's only theatrical right now but obviously that can change.Hmm. Wonder what happens to Shang-Chi, which is also supposed to be a July release.

So September, November, December to close out the year. Its hard to say for sure without seeing any trailers or footage yet, but I don’t think people were flocking to the theater to see Shang-Chi or Eternals even in the best of times. Depending on when the pandemic stands to close out the year, I could see those movies getting the same treatment while Spider-Man is given the return to normalcy bump by being theater only at Christmas.

I just realized we haven't had a Marvel movie since Spider-Man Far From home in July 2019. Man imagine if COVID hit between before End Game?

Finally got around to watching WandaVision over the weekend. It was pretty enjoyable, although I enjoyed it more before things got more serious towards the end.
Also watched the first episode of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Dat opening sequence. Movie quality **** right there. Pretty impressive. I enjoyed it overall.
In regards to the upcoming movies, wtf is a Shang Chi and why should I care about it?

No idea who Shang-Chi is, but the movie involves The Ten Rings and The Mandarin, which have been around the MCU since Iron Man.In regards to the upcoming movies, wtf is a Shang Chi and why should I care about it?

I'm continuing to like this falcon bucky show. There are definitely some really low points where I say this is so dumb, but it's keeping me way more engaged than I thought it would

Episode 3 is great. I thought I'd wait until they were almost done to watch, but this show has been very enjoyable.

Episode 3 is great, this form is really doing wonders for making me like characters I didn't like from the movies. This show is way more violent than I anything I thought disney would put out.
