This is just a Kaprizov and McDavid thread now. Everything else goes in the randomness thread

Wild reverse retros are certainly top tier.
Kaprizov needs to subsidize my water bill for all the extra laundry I have to do because of him.

I don't think I've ever seen a player sprint off the bench like that and score within 10 seconds. He knew exactly what he wanted and got itThe Wild are fun. What?

Well, one player is.

The angle that he gets it reeled back in...is unlikely...what a save.

Wilbon said the CDS punch save was better. You see this save 'every week.'

where does the save land on the Shmenguin Save Power Index or SSPI
the CDS save being a 10/10 and the Holtby Stanley Cup Final save being a 1/10

Not a knock on CDS but I'm not convinced his was even a SOG. His reflexes didn't know that but in terms of the outcome avoided the stick save above may beat it by default.

CDS is 10/10, MAF 09 Game 7 is 9/10, and this is around a 6/10.where does the save land on the Shmenguin Save Power Index or SSPI

6 is a good score, but this was reflex + stick luck. CDS and MAF had to use their noggins and athleticism in big ways - and the stakes of what MAF had to do are ungodly.
