It would take more effort for me to steal inspection stickers than it would for me to just get an inspection.

Does anybody even check for inspection tags? Friend of mine got a new car a year ago and still hasn't had it inspected. In that time she's wrecked once and been pulled over twice for traffic violations. Nobody said **** about her inspection. Allegheny County doesn't care.

It's almost April and it's still not inspected.

The first year we lived here I drove my '13 MINI with just an emissions sticker. It failed inspection for something silly and I never went back to get it reinspected.Does anybody even check for inspection tags? that grant street traffic has been a disaster.

I park in the Grant garage and cross Liberty to get to my building. Crossing was easy today because Liberty was gridlocked; two bus drivers were yelling at each other as I walked by. Good times.

A-frigging-men. All the stupid betas that panic and move over to the lane right away ruin it for everyone. And if you are a trucker or someone driving a lifted pickup blocking both lanes, you are an a$$hole too.

Pennsylvania State Tpr. Forrest Allison says, “Sometimes they block traffic and hold up other vehicles.”
But the blockers believe its in the drivers best interest, “If everyone merges in and stays at one speed, you move through a lot faster,” says Malanosky.
Kravits could not disagree more, “You actually get through the work zone quicker if you use both lanes and you take your turn to merge.”
And Tpr. Allison says blocking is illegal, “You are not permitted to impede traffic you could be charged with a violation of the traffic laws. The best and safest practice is to use both lanes to the merge point.”
A driver caught blocking the open lane could face a ticket of $130, plus costs. In addition Tpr. Allison says causing traffic to back up in a single lane can extend the cue back past the warning signs that a construction zone is ahead. That causes drivers to arrive at highway speed at the rear of the back up and risks serious accidents. Especially if the cue extends back around a curve.

For the last several weeks the state police have been running radar on 279 north in the late evening, and unusually they have been focusing on the stretch between Camp Horne and the City. I've done that commute for over a decade, and I've never before seen the police farther south than the stretch between Camp Horne and the 79/279 merge point, where they sometimes sit in the turnaround in the median.

Every public garage downtown was full this morning before 9am. Ended up parking on Fort Duquense Blvd at 9th. Paid for a few hours, didn't get back in time and got a ticket. In total I paid $50 to park twice as far away for only three hours. **** awesome.

I used to fly on 28 because everyone else did. I'm pretty happy I moved North, that road sucked when traffic was bad. Still better than the south hills sideThe way in which people drive on 28 is scaey

Got into an accident today because some jag missed his exit and decided to come to a dead stop on the park way. So the dude in front of me slammed on his brakes, I slammed on mine but unfortunately couldn’t avoid it. Luckily nobody was hurt and the guy was super chill. The person who caused it? Well he darted across traffic to his exit and got the hell out of dodge.
