Well lets all thank jesus that Derek Grant will still be in the lineup. When Sullivan was hired I immediately wondered when he would have his Alex Edler moment with this team. Wonder if he's made Sprong cry yet.

He's Danish. Other than wooden shoes I know zero stereotypes about the Danes, so I'm just going to do what I always do and assume he's a *****.I hope that Sprong's skin is a bit more resilient than his hair line.Well lets all thank jesus that Derek Grant will still be in the lineup. So we are playing with 5 centers tonight and scratch a scoring winger for center Derek Fing Grant. Makes senseWell lets all thank jesus that Derek Grant will still be in the lineup. Kind of random, but...
My son wants a Penguins popsocket for his phone (it's one of those pop out stands for cell phones). The ones on eBay look sketchy, as do some of the sellers. Have yinz seen one around town or the Pens gear store? I would gladly pay for one to get shipped to me.

They didn't scratch a scoring winner, they scratched Sprong.

Penguins fan who pleaded for kidney has successful transplant surgery
Kelly Sowatsky got what she wished for.
The Lancaster County woman’s plea for help finding a kidney at a Pittsburgh Penguins game last season resulted in a successful surgery this month after another Pens fan saw a sign she made bearing her phone number.
The team reported Wednesday that Bethel Park native Jeff Lynd saw Sowatsky’s sign on the Penguins social media accounts and offered his organ .
“My heart just started racing because I had this instinct that I was going to be the one that was going to be selected for it,” Lynd, who lives in Delaware, told Pens Inside Scoop.
Sowatsky had been on a transplant waiting list after falling ill on Christmas Eve in 2015. She eventually got sepsis as a result of an infection and her kidneys were damaged. At the time of her Nov. 6 surgery, her kidney was functioning at 9 percent.
The new organ — nicknamed “Sidney the Kidney” — was functioning at 99 percent post-surgery, Pens Inside Scoop reported.
Both Sowatsky and Lynd are doing well.
