Baby Pens lost 5-3 last night.

On the verge of elimination. Series at 3-2 in favor of Hershey.

They were down 3-0 and rallied to tie it on a goal from Tom Sestito of all people. When he scored, got a 10 minute misconduct penalty for shushing the Bears bench ala Max Talbot. The Pens would then give up a short handed goal later and an empty netter to lose.

Really? That seems a pretty lame thing to call for a misconduct...

I came in here hoping to find out what caused Sestito to get 37 penalty minutes last night. What a ridiculous penalty to hand out. Here's his full penalty log:

1 - WBS Sestito, 0:02 - Fighting, 5 min
1 - WBS Sestito, 0:02 - Misconduct - Continuing altercation, (46.5) 10 min
2 - WBS Sestito, 19:02 - Elbowing, 2 min (PP)
3 - WBS Sestito, 3:53 - Game misconduct - Unsportsmanlike conduct, (75.5(ii)) 10 min
3 - WBS Sestito, 20:00 - Game misconduct - Abuse of officials, (39.5) 10 min

So after he got booted from the game 4 minutes into the third period he got another game misconduct after the game ended? He come running out the runway like the Ultimate Warrior and go after the ref?

The Wheeling Nailers are in the Kelly Cup Final for the first time since 1993. Games 3-5 are in Wheeling on with games 4 and 5 on Friday & Saturday (June 3rd & 4th).

I really want to make it to one but I'll be out of town.

Trying to make it for Game 5. IMO, if they can beat Vitek Vanecek, they can win this series too.

It's a shame these aren't available to watch online. AHL Final is available to watch for free here: http://ahl.neulion.com/ahl/

Select the $65 package and enter the promo code caldercup2016.

I would like to think they will. But let's play the hypothetical "what if?" game and say the WBS Pens are no more after 2019.

Is there a close market that is available that is without an AHL team?
