Cent’s head hit hard from the rock bottom. Also, Taker disappeared The Rock and no one said anything. This was awesome. Woulda been cool if Mox, for one night only came in on that Shield spot to.
Oh shot and “professional wrestling” from Cole. Big middle finger to Vince, rightly so.

This feels like Bret’s celebration at Mania 10. A new champ for a new era. Hopefully this era works out better than the New Generation…

Cody’s even hugging the cameramen. What a baby face.

Yes it was.

Now imagine if they took the best of both nights and combined them into one 4.5 hour (max) show. Outside of Rhea/Becky, the ladder match, and Sami/Gunther night one felt like a preshow to tonight.

Yep she’s great. That added to the moment just because it was so real and raw.

I totally missed Cole going "finished.the.story" on the 1-2-3 count last night. Great stuff there.

So weird seeing RAW without a Titantron.

That’s a cool ass new entrance ramp. Is that permanent?? They really are trying to basically start over. Good stuff.

The more that I’m watching this, the more I like tonight’s entrance setup.

Yeah this is the same set up as Smackdown before Mania. They’ll use a smaller stage when they know they’ll draw a big crowd. HHH talked about it a bit in the press conference and essentially said their best prop is the crowd and he wants to showcase the crowd whenever he can. He specifically said he doesn’t care about the latest technology in LED panels. So smaller sets, more people.

Decent show last night though not as newsworthy as some of the other post Mania Raws have been. The opening segment with HHH, Cody, and eventually The Rock was okay but would've been much better if it was 20 minutes shorter. That **** went 45 minutes. Rock's pacing was awkward and they were far too cryptic with the ending. I'm happy to see him gone for a bit. I would've rather had Cody's first challenger immediately set up and it should've been Rollins. That's the story. Rollins lost everything to help Cody win. He can blame his title loss on competing the night before when there was zero upside for him personally. And of course he took a Superman punch and a chair shot in the main event for Cody. The story is already there. Instead we get a promise of The Rock returning and Jey Uso as #1 contender.
Also, I hope HHH is done on camera for a while and they cool it with the "HHH era" stuff. Enough circle jerking. Stop telling me how great the new era is going to be and just, you know, do it.

Other than being related to reigns, what does jay uso have going for him? I am asking as a very casual observer of sports entertainment

Jey (and Jimmy) have been in WWE for 14 years. They are fantastic wrestlers, though for much of their careers they didn't have well defined characters or storylines. They were just a really good tag team in an era where tag teams weren't all that valued. The Bloodline (Roman Reigns group) really elevated both of them to a level that they were never at before. The relationship between Jey and Jimmy (and Sami Zayn at one point) was the top story in WWE for a good bit. Jey's post Bloodline run has been great and he's been made a star thanks to that story. He had a really good main event match with Roman at Summerslam last year. I like Jey and I do think he deserves a spot at the top, but he shouldn't be Cody's first challenger.
By the way, Jey vs Jimmy easily being the worst match at Wrestlemania was a surprise.

I remember there being a match between the Uso's/Shield/Wyatt Family that I feel was in a cage or HITC or something and it was amazing....or maybe it was Uso's and New Day?
Either way The USO's are really good at what they do (tag team wrestling), the the bloodline stuff really put them through the roof even if I was barely watching WWE at that point outside of Rumble/WM.

Looks like Rollins is taking time off to rehab a knee injury, which probably explains why he's not first in line for Cody.

Jericho needs to go on an extended tour with Fozzy or something. Everything he touches nowadays is just lame af.
The ONE thing he still had going was the Judas singalong so he decides to go back to Lionheart for... reasons.

I’m a few minutes behind. I like Edge but he doesn’t need to have a 20+ minute match.

The whole footage segment was just as dumb as I thought it would be. They are trying to work it into an angle but it’s so stupid.
