I’m a fan. Seems comfortable with the puck and is always moving.

I'd like to see him think shot more. Had a chance to fire one that period and wheeled the net instead - looked good doing it though, and had confidence to skate laterally in a dangerous area just inside the blue to make a play

Hes playing a simple game defensively, great stick work and just makes the easy play with the puck. Not much more you can ask from a 3rd pairing guy

He's deceptively smooth.

I was worried about the Pens thinking they could maybe win this en passant and go figure these jerks have to prove me right.

Re: Shea. Yeah, pretty good puck skills...for a guy that couldn't do dick in the USHL in his D+1 year, and didn't eclipse half a point per game in college till his senior season...he isn't bad with the disc. Understands how to move against the flow of forecheck pressure (despite below average skating). Looser gap player defensively, but he's just compensating for his wheels I think. But in all, in limited minutes, he's been just fine and then some for me. Just a nice find for the third pairing it looks like, for a guy who went as an unsigned draft pick and then a group VI free agent...that's really nice work by whoever was responsible for tracking this guy, probably our pro scouts, maybe Dubas...

Our pro scouts seem much better at doing their thing than our amateur onesRe: Shea. He isn't. We're in a danger game right now. Might need 5 to win this one...Feel like Jarry isn't seeing it well tonight

He hasn't done anything terribly stupid. Decent skater, not a dunce with the puck. Could do a lot worse for our bottom pairing1st intermission prompt:
