Jarry was awesome. Eller had a very nice game. DJ/music staff gets an F- tonight. Not only was there no organ music, they played the Avs song (all the small things) before their 4 min power play. Wtf

Any chance that Will Butcher and Mark Pysyk will eventually get in the mix?

You mustve been at the game as Rupp? mentioned that as well, said a couple Dallas players told him 'keep an eye on Shea'

Which team(s) (I think it happened more than once recently) played Renegade at an away game for the Steelers? Chargers last year?

Pysyk doesn't have a contract. Naturally, that can change in a snap. Given that he's RHS, they'll probably give him a long look if/when he gets healthy again...

I thought they said he had a long term injury. Wonder if it’s something related to his Achilles injury

Edit: just saw a report that he participated in morning skate yesterday

How does this situation work with a PTO/injury? Like when he gets healthy is there a period of time he can practice with the big boys and a certain number of American league games he can play before signing a contract?

I mean I think he's better than ruhwedel and I'd be fine with sending Stinky packing and make a 3rd pairing out of Shea, ruhwedel, pysyk, perhaps ludvig as the 8

My understanding is...he's still around for a reason. It used to be, a guy got hurt and you just let him go from his PTO (I'm not sure about the medical coverage, I'm sure vets were covered...can't say for younger/less experienced players). He's still hanging around. He's on a PTO so he can practice. I think WBS would need to give him a PTO to get him some games down there, but that's just a technicality I think (one that I may not be correct about).

So, I think they're going to give him every opportunity to get a contract if he can pass a physical on the way back.

I’m guessing POJ gonna get traded as soon as Pysyk and Ludvig are healthy. Maybe someone bites and throws us a speedy 4th liner in return

Stinky has no trade value. He's not capable of playing in the NHL. Reminds me of Pouliot but with less talent

Pouliot just played video games all day. At least POJ seems like a good dude and hard worker

Yeah thats true. Likeable guy, bad player. My issue is he doesn't have the talent to offset his liability-ness. Like, he's not a guy that gets burnt 3x a game but also makes 3 outstanding plays per game.

I’m not an Eller fan so far. He’s a rather selfish player. Not a great trait for a center. Especially a third line center

He's never heard of his wingers. But he's never really been a puck distributor. He'd be better as a LW from that perspective, but the thing that makes him an effective center is how much ice he can manage. He just owns the things that he needs to own in all three zones. And has the hockey sense to not play beyond his means. So, **** is going forward, it's going on net, and we'll figure it out from there...I'm not going to try to figure out the potential offensive play now immediately after stealing the puck from Ovechkin, I gotta get away from him...
