The defense is going to need to do some work on defending the run because a better team is going to gash them. I also thought that WVU should have stayed with the run more

Kind of a weird game.

Allar looks the part, which is pretty exciting. WRs looked better than I anticipated. TEs weren't really needed, which is a good sign IMO. RBs were good, and man are they dangerous. OLINE was okay, but not great.

Defense had flashes, but felt a bit off. The WVU QB was either way more elusive than they thought, or the D was just a bit over excited. Overall, though, they played fast and aggressive. Maybe too aggressive at times? WVU OLINE definitely pushed around the DLine quite a bit. Agreed with others that a team like Michigan might be licking their chops.

Special teams was a special kind of disaster. Yikes. Missed FGs, bad punt, fair catch at the 5. Lots of work to do there.

Overall...take the dub and get better.

I was offered tickets to the game... looked at the weather forecast: rain/thunderstorms. PASS.

Get used to it, these games vs G5 or FCS teams are going to be increasingly streaming only IMO. I get Peacock "free" from Comcast and ESPN+ "free" through my Verizon plan.

Yeah we bought tickets last week and welp, it's gonna be a wet one. Ugh. At least we're in lot 18 which is reserved paved and a 2 minute walk to the gates.

Might want to check that. Comcast dropped the whole free peacock. Unless something changed.

My plan has Peacock Premium through 2025. I'm sure the $5.99 a month is baked in somehow.

Meh… I went to the farmers market, got some great stuff, took my daughter to get her hair cut, made some enchilada sauce for dinner Monday, swept and mopped the house, mowed the grass, did the laundry and put fresh sheets on beds.

Getting all that done outweighs watching them whoop up on a 2nd tier college football team.

Not sure when the last PSU game I didn't watch a single down of was. Not due to Peacock, but my daughter had a soccer game at 12:30 and by the time that was done it was 56-7 and why bother?

I did listen to Steve and Jack for the first half.

Yeah. I watched a few possessions while I was cooking. Didn’t feel it was necessary to watch much beyond that.

Well compared to psu, they do suck. And it was pouring here at 5-5:30. Forgive me for being 5 hours off on rain 2 days ahead of the event. Lol

I’m glad it worked out for you though. Got to see a lot of offense.

This game is starting to make me question this team… hopefully they’re just young and trying to figure it out, but they’ve been giving up yardage on defense and the offense should be able to move the ball better than this.

A couple of easy interceptions has made this game tilt to Penn State, but you can’t expect those every week.

KLS gotta be smarter than that. Offense starting to move it then dumb penalty leads to blocked FG these kickers were never going to make anyway.
