"Altruistic suicide, suicide for the benefit of others"
First item of the list got pretty morally deep.

That’s the Eskimo death. Or Inuit death? Whichever one walks off onto the ice whenever they can no longer help society.
More people should do that

also dodint, I’m trying to figure out why you posted in this thread, which has a very particular joke theme, rather than the New Words You Learned thread which this one is obviously satirizing

Senilicide. Old words.
Come on man.
And, yes, meow, that's where I came across it. The last known old person on an Inuit ice floe was in 1939.

What dodint did was a terrific joke. I gave it a hardy "HA!" because it's an unreal thread pull and it's subtle. You do improv. You say things like "Argentina is the country next to Q-gentina"...shut your yap.

Not sure I understand what the point of this thread is, but an old word I recently learned and think is funny is: slattern.

see I disagree. It’s not so much an old word…it’s a word that refers to old peopleWhat dodint did was a terrific joke. I gave it a hardy "HA!" because it's an unreal thread pull and it's subtle. You do improv. You say things like "Argentina is the country next to Q-gentina"...shut your yap.
The etymology of the word dates back to 1889 which yeah is considered old by modern standards but is not at all old when compared to other -cide words like “homicide” (13th century) and “suicide” (1650s)

Holy ****, are you serious? Are you Chip Chipperson? Put down your copy of "Yes, And" and pick up something more in line with your sense of humor like "Death of a Salesman"...

Imagine if all jokes had to be literal truths instead of simple wordplay.
