rangers dominate for two and 1/2 periods
matt barzal disappears
lee and nelson skate like syrup rolling down a 6% grade
but
the fishsticks block 30+ shots: varlamov makes all the hard 3rd period saves
rangers don't get some obvious penalty calls including a brutal boaeding on trochek with 30 secs left
with the result being the dreaded fishsticks win again

Yeah, I've been betting against the Avs in some choice spots or at least taking overs...I don't trust them, I also think that MacKinnon "over plays" the game sometimes and ends up being his own worst enemy...

Not a lot of overplay on that goal. Goodness, that speed.

They’re doing the same as the Penguins. They had lost 6 in a row from March 11 - March 21. The Penguins were 2-6-2 from March 7 - March 24.

i'd prefer the fishsticks win and have 3rd wrapped up before the pens game
playing them with a lot riding on the outcome hasn't gone at all well historically
