General Fanager - The new CapGeek?

Postby FLPensFan » Tue May 05, 2015 3:30 pm

A new NHL Cap website has popped up called General Fanager. It looks more like an NHL Numbers type site at the moment, but the operator of the site is looking to add more like daily cap tracker, build roster for cap compliance (ArmChair GM), etc.

Looks like a promising site if the operator can deliver on the extra tools and items that can bring it up to par with where CapGeek was.

I saw this popping up in Twitter yesterday. I thought it was the Twitter account name for the new Joint Chief of Staff (@generalfanager)

Fantastic, thanks. I had been using Spotrac, is this better?

I went to it yesterday from work and it worked find and now I'm trying to go to it today and it's blocked because of "Malicious Outbound Data/Botnets"

I think in time, it will be. They have plans to add a lot of the "extra" type features that CapGeek had similar functions. Right now, it is about the same as Spotrac and NHLNumbers. The site actually went down on the first day because they didn't expect so much traffic. They put up what they have for now, just to get it out there. They have been very responsive on twitter.

Looking forward to seeing what they can produce.
