I’m not trying to downplay that goal, but he only made one move. He only had to make one move because that acceleration is bonkers.

the accel is bonkers but i think he skates thru 2 defenders rather than 4 is more precise
malkin's goal v. tampa is better is better for me by comparison

And agreed, he's "only" going through two skaters. #17 is coasting at this point and not even making an attempt at poking at the puck.
