goalies being at the top of a list like this is a bummer
i actually appreciate the NBA because 99 times out of 100, you get a fair result. sure, that means the lebron and the warriors will be in the finals forever, but the game ends and the better team won. fleury and holtby making lucky hail mary saves over the past month mutates what the other 38 guys are up to. it makes the outcome not reflective of the better team. don't love that.

Well, with Vegas everyone has been pulling the rope about the same, except Fleury who was having a historically good playoffs through the entire Western Conference run.
Kuznetsov is the only thing really muddying the water for Holtby in my opinion...using Cam Ward as precedent, Holtby coming in and playing wonderfully despite not playing the first two games of the playoffs has all the optics: "saving the day", toppling Pittsburgh, back-to-back gm 6 and 7 shutouts vs Tampa (IIRC), "the save" in the SCF...he's got it all and he's playing great...the only other real standout on Washington is Kuznetsov...
