I don't disagree with that stance either. But the Flyers seemed somewhat game at points in the series and Holtby has hermetically sealed the net and extinguished all hope, allowing his team to arise from its somewhat drowsy state over the past 4-6 weeks. He has just been so neat and tidy and the Flyers had some opportunities in the first part of the series that were really good chances and he made them look just all too easy...if you're on that bench in Philadelphia, you're thinking, "man, there's no way we're beating this guy..."
So I gave him the nod...for now...but it's all a bunch of hot air at this point (and points forward)...just an early watch list...

A week ago, he was...? I don't think that was in question. He gave the Flyers no hope, and the Penguins had to rely on deflections and back bounces to score on him. It took a bit in the series to really start shooting pucks past him...obviously, he'll come off of it now, as he won't be in the playoffs any longer...
