Zubov vs. Kovalchuk

Ex-Penguin (and Mario Lemieux's BFF) Zubov is currently the coach of SKA St. Petersburg, where Kovalchuk used to be the team's leader and a Captain. Zubov hated K's work ethic, and after Kovalchuk's sulking "helped" the team to lose No. 1 game of the play-offs 1st round, Kovalchuk was stripped off the "C", and got suspended for one game.

Which St. Petersburg won.

That did not go well with Kovalchuk, so Z. sat him for two more games.

Which St. Petersburg also won.

That really did not go well with Kovalchuk, so he sent out this treat "Either reinstate me within two days, or I am returning back to America." Well, Zubov had none of it, so Kovalchuk sat out another game.

And St. Petersburg won that one as well, thus wrapping the series up 4:1....

So I guess it's Kovalchuk's turn.

The a hole kovy is threatening coming back to America? Didn't he royally f the Debbie's? F him id never want him on the pens even sans 87/71/4-bucket.

He's not coming back...there was a rumor that was flattened about him playing for the expansion KHL team in China...now that would be fun...probably make bank...

That would be fun. Are the khl teams pretty spread out? I know Russia could be its own continent with how big it is

Id want him back just because hed be pushing out someone that isnt good enough to play in the nhl. There is no way hed be allowed back though.
