I know getting into "intent" is a real slippery slope, but a well-run league would see that, see his history, and at least fine if not suspend him. Don't give him a 2nd chance to do that in the next game at the very least.

There's no good reason to have former players in a judicial role if you're not going to weaponize their ability to read intent imo...

This was RE: the Stars and after seeing the Oilers and Canucks play tonight, I'm even more annoyed on their behalf. Why couldn't you just start VAN-EDM last night and play the Stars game tonight?
