I immediately was thinking I was a little surprised that Martinec didn't win a bunch in a row...but I guess someone like Holecek or Suchy might have grabbed one or two in there...

Eh I don't think so. It's subjective, clearly. The pros and cons of jersey ads are pretty straight forward. The less corporate advertising the better in my eyes. The jersey ads are just another step in professional sports long standing tradition of plastering logos on every inch of available space.

I'm not opposed to it but I wouldn't want it to be cluttered with ads like the pic above. Also want to make sure the logo is front and center, not a huge ad like in soccer- ie. the West Ham Betways or the Manchester City Etihads where the sponsor is HUGE and dwarfs the actual crest.

**** jersey ads. And helmet ads. And even one ice ads outside of center ice. And even then, those suck ass.

Board ads are fine IMO.

It'd be cool if jersey ads made NHL.tv cheaper or lowered the cost of seats. But they won't.

i did not notice helmet ads after a couple games and I won't notice jersey ads the same as I don't notice them on NBA jerseys. I'm cool with it as long as it's just one

Wonder how it’s balanced against merch sales. If you have ads plastered on you, then would someone be as likely to buy your jersey, when it literally never looks like that when you’re playing.
