Nice. I had seen that Ric left the Nippon Paper Cranes and joined a team I've never heard of. This is EIHL, I trust?

Yeah it is Mikey. They had a pretty decent team last season and looks like they are trying to do the same for this one.

It's good having a team to follow locally and the atmosphere at the games is good.

Cooke was good, but he was hurt a lot down the stretch. Maybe they need money to give Dubnyk way too much of it...

Dubnyk is looking for north of $5 million on a long-term deal.
He wants far too much for a solid 3 month run. Also notes that Russo believes the Pens are still in the running for Reilly, seems mostly like speculation but Russo is a pretty solid guy and doesn't tend to make up rumors.

In NHL history, there have been 24 instances where a team has lead a series 3-1 and lost. The Capitals are on the losing end of five them and the Flyers on the losing end of two of them.

(For the record, we have comeback from two of them and lost two of them, a third if you count 3-0 leads, which we had vs. the Islanders in '75)...

Yeah, they fired four or five guys with new GM Chiarelli in charge. Though the optics look weird, at this point, the scouting staff should have no new information to provide. And the Oilers have not been stellar drafters/developers over the course of former Head of Amateur Scouting Stu MacGregor's tenure...
