Non-Penguins NHL Games 2023-24

13 shots on goal for a winner. Is this becoming a trend? First time that Oilers-Kings has been a 1-0 playoff game.

And we missed out on the final 2 TV timeout so at least we avoided one last AT&T commercial with the horribly off-key singing basketball players.

why tf did they put the Oilers-Kings game on later on Sunday than they normally would for a west coast game on a weekday? doesn’t make any sense to me

as an example, the game in Vegas starts at 930 today

I had an absolute blast watching every minute of hockey on Saturday. Sunday I had some things going on and couldn't stay up... the only game I could have watched cover to cover was rangers caps which was of minimal interest so it was background noise

You can't beat that schedule though

Opportunity cost, my guy. Overlapping games isn’t ideal (also a bit of a strawman here but whatever) but having games with arguably the best player in the league that end at 1am eastern is worse

also i know mikey is not gonna like this but the NBA managed to get 4 games in with the last one starting a full hour earlier than the Oilers game
