Companies like that will continue to lose quality employees to other, more progressive companies. That has already started, and the shift is not going to reverse.

Teams is still not working, but at least I have email now. Support rep disconnected. This is why they are known as the helpless desk
If you want to give my way a shot - at your own risk - you can do the following:

Close and exit Teams (make sure it's not running in your system tray)

In File Explorer, browse to: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft

Rename the Teams folder to Teams-Old or something else

Click on Start and type in regedit; open Registry Editor

Browse to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office

Rename the Teams key (foldler) to Teams-Old or something else

The next time you launch Teams, it should launch as though it's the first time you're running it. I have a script in our Citrix Desktop that automates this entire process for anyone having issues, that way I can 'empower the users to fix it themselves', rather than wait for somebody to do it for them.

My Thursday Windows update has nuked Teams again. But this time I dont have an AppData folder in my C:\Users\MyUsername directory. Am I missing something?

Disregard. I was able to manually type in the path and got to it.

Yeah, it’s a hidden folder. You can unhide it by checking “show hidden files” in Options while in File Explorer.

Weird this keeps happening to me. Oh well, at least it's a 3 minute self serve fix instead of days now.

First day back at the office yesterday. Of course there was a big thunderstorm during the commute home which caused a few accidents and turned a 35 minute drive into an hour and 45 minutes. Also I accomplished nothing in the office that wouldn't have been accomplished at home. Zero spontaneous creativity.

i thought there was a pronoun in play at some point where maybe he told a story with a "she" in it, and i mixed up who the subject was.

we should all be required to include the He/Him designation here as a footer to our posts, IMO.
