Job and General Employment Thread
Probably was the March update, and the April update fixed it. Time is a flat circle these days, man.

Well I'm only correlating it to the timing of the issue. But, I was logged out of all my office apps and can't log back in. I get an 8007000d error in teams. Outlook pops up the password box but it's completely blank and goes away in an instant. Support messaged me last night... At 7pm my time. Despite me providing them my availability.Huh? What happened? None of the patches affected us.Source of the post Almost a week now of no email or teams access thanks to the may windows security patch.
Edit I should add mobile and web versions are working, so it's a desktop specific problem and not a password or account issue.

You can always clear out your Teams profile and cache and give it a shot, if it comes down to it.

Did that and also wiped all credentials in credential manager. Support has control of it now and looks like they are adding an EnableADAL registry key? No idea.

lol, your clown show support should have done that from the start. EnableADAL is modern authentication, and I'd say that a large majority of Teams/365 orgs use it.

As I said, I found it on a Google search and tried myself but got no where because I am not support.

Teams is still not working, but at least I have email now. Support rep disconnected. This is why they are known as the helpless desk

If you want to give my way a shot - at your own risk - you can do the following:Teams is still not working, but at least I have email now. Support rep disconnected. This is why they are known as the helpless desk
- Close and exit Teams (make sure it's not running in your system tray)
- In File Explorer, browse to: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft
- Rename the Teams folder to Teams-Old or something else
- Click on Start and type in regedit; open Registry Editor
- Browse to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office
- Rename the Teams key (foldler) to Teams-Old or something else

I just got a call from one of our surgery center administrators. Apparently, one of the recruiters on my team was extremely rude with an RN applicant for the center, and actually hung up on her. I actually called the applicant and just spoke with her for twenty minutes...sometimes applicants make up BS, but I have no reason to believe she was lying.
I have also had issues with this employee's attention to detail, grammar, etc. I think I may be popping my termination cherry soon.

It’s not that hard. Be nice, don’t take things personally, on to the next call.I just got a call from one of our surgery center administrators. I had a talking to about 10 years ago when I thought I had hung up the phone only to find the piece of **** lady on the other line heard me call her a **** dodint. If anything, it was the phones fault for not sitting on the cradle properly. Luckily, the entire department knew said lady was a **** dodint and said make sure the phone is hung up next time. It’s not that hard. It's not fun...just stay above the water, you don't have to engage in the response...I just got a call from one of our surgery center administrators. Yeah, anytime I’ve had to I just use documentation that I had and dealt in black and white. Nothing personal. I did see an evil colleague force employees they wanted to fire copy them on every email sent so they could document any discretion. That, imo, was real **** up.It's not fun...just stay above the water, you don't have to engage in the response...I just got a call from one of our surgery center administrators. Wait until Kane finds out that he used a Sharpie instead of that green dry erase marker.

My employer finally got around to the eased Covid restrictions. Masks no longer required outdoors, and if you're vaccinated you don't have to wear it indoors in groups of five or less.

Nothing bothers me more, when someone reaches out to me saying the information I have is critical, asks to schedule a meeting with a group of people, and then schedules over one of my current meetings and refuses to move it.
Person, you need me, not the other way around - and you're asking me to move my current work-life around to accomodate you. I'm just gonna leave you on tentative and you can hope I show up then.

It's just infuriating honestly. That's probably one of my larger pet peeves. I understand we've all got a lot going on, but if you personally reach out to me and ask for my help, you have to work with me a little bit. I don't need to work with you.
