Win or draw or Spurs loss or draw clinches Europa League. That’s good I guess? Feels like consolation bracket.

Looks like all “Superleague Teams” top 4. Really wanted Hammers and Leicester to rub their faces in it.

Oh we’re gonna lose. Europa League is certainly better than whatever the hell the new thing is called. It sucks for Spurs, but I won’t hate seeing some new blood in European competition for a season.

Incredible finish. Still have no idea what he was thinking. Zero reason to rush the clearance by taking it on a bounce.

This is one of the crazy COVID stories. River Plate had 20(!) players sidelined because of COVID protocols, so they went to play their the Copa Libertadores match (against a top Colombian team) with no substitutes, no goalie, and an injured (muscle) midfielder (with zero GK experiences) in the goal!

And they still won...

Woot woot

We are West Ham so blowing it ain’t out of the question by a damn sight, but “don’t get outscored by three in the second half by a team that’s just playing for fun” should be doable.

I mean...I wanted Champions League back when they were in position and the finish is a little disappointing but I think on Day 1 I’d have been happy with mod table so in that respect this is fabulous.

Hope they don’t **** the bed.

Wish Leicester had held on and all the CL spots were not occupied by Super league teams. Oh well.
