This gesture means "arsehole" all over Southeastern Europe (and beyond), it means "ok" where I come from. But of course some moron in Winnipeg will tell you that Arnautovic (who is definitely a weirdo and probably a prick) is flashing the white power sign and should be banned for life and he (the moron) is appalled that no European media outlet is all over this "story" (it's because they're all racist!). You got to love twitter.

What would you suggest they were supposed to do? You cannot alter the schedule of remaining EURO games because of one match - especially this year when so many host nations present a logistical nightmare.

If they played the next day, it would have adversely affect the recovery time of both teams for the next match. Restarting was the best option, especially after Denmark was given a free penalty kick (no sane referee should ever let the penalty call against Finland stand). Denmark had enough chances to win. It's weak for Schmeichel to complain now.

Holy SHT.

Naturally I was very happy to see that - but I think Robert Mak's goal in SVK-POL game was even more amazing (despite being credited as own goal):

The color commentators for ESPN in this tournaments are awful. Taylor Twellman's "I'm a serious person" voice is the worst.

Are the Portugal uniforms the worst in that county's history?

Hideous.

Crazy that Ronaldo had a brace and could have easily had a hat trick if not for a missed attempt on an easy cross.

The names of countries in other countries is always sort of interesting to me... We call it Germany, Germans call it Deutschland, and the French/Spanish call it Allemagne/Alemania.

I’ve always had a similar interest, especially with cities. Germans call it München so why is it Munich in English? It’s not like Munchen is difficult to pronounce. Same thing with Sevilla vs. Seville.

I dare you to pronounce München correctly.

Btw, it's Monaco in Italian.

Hernandez threw him to the ground. Deserved the kick to the face.

Paul Pogba remains extremely good and his loveless marriage to United should end ASAP so that he can be better appreciated.

Gnabry is not a solution for Germany up front. That's not going to work imo.

Havertz plays with the intensity of a late stage Josef Beranek.
