Had JWP and/or Ings been on the England side, I’d have been closer to neutral. But they weren’t, so go Italy.

UEFA is seriously considering EXPANDING the Euro final tournament from 24 to 32 countries. Incidentally, the top 32 European countries by population account for...

97.25% of all people living in Europe!

(the top 29 countries - since all 4 UK teams are likely in Top 32 based on soccer quality - account for 95.9%)

This year, Macedonia was an oddity (one spot given to the winner of a mini-tournament of really weak countries). With 32 countries participating - there will be something like 8(!!) countries like that...

32 would be better than 24, tbh. The 24-team format sucks for various reasons. 16 would be better, but UEFA is never going back of course, so I'd actually be fine with this.

Knowing the federation, they will probably expand the field with China, the Emirates, Qatar, and whichever else shithole country is willing to stuff even more money down their greedy throats. Basterds.

UEFA has 55 members, I believe. Just scrap qualification and have a play-in or whatever. Oh wait, that would mean less games and less money to be stuffed down their greedy throats.

That was my first thought… at a certain point you literally can’t expand the field.

Watched the game at the airport this morning, and apparently scared a few people when I yelled after Donnarumma made that ice cold save to win the game. Gonna miss him in Milan, but I'm glad to see him get his earned award at the tournament.

Lando Norris (for those that don’t watch F1 is a British driver for mclaren) was mugged after the game at Wembley and his watch was stolen

This is becoming more and more embarrassing for England with each story that comes out about the ridiculousness to the people that showed up at this game

AC Milan are going to regret losing him for a long time. And Juve is going to regret letting PSG sign him for a long time as well

They should require every sovereign nation in Europe to field a team. I really want to see the Holy See team with, like, the Pope playing goal or whatever.

I'm glad that Juve passed on him, that's for damn sure.

Guest nation. They used to do that and now they do it again. Hm, I wonder why.

Meh. I’d take it over Nike’s recreation of the Load album cover.

I really like Southampton's home and 3rd kits:

Now if they make the away kits blue and yellow, they've hit a homerun, IMO.
