In HS soccer, we used to call that (booting a wide open shot over the goal) a Chu Cho because apparently that meant dadhole in Italian. I never fact checked that. But CHU CHOOOO

Spain’s midfield was better than Italy’s today which I didn’t think would happen. Pedri is a stud. The quick passing caused those guys a lot of problems and Enrique positioning Almo in the gap between Chiellini and jorginho caused Italy a ton of problems. Kudos to Spain, I thought they were frauds early on in the tournament but they really rounded into form and probably were more deserving of the win.

But you gotta win games like that sometimes. Keep it going.

Also this is amazing. There’s nothing worse than England’s self bloated attitude when it comes to the sport. Like, what in gods name have you done in 60 years. Quit saying “it’s coming home” because some dudes created it 150 years ago.

My time in the Italian countryside (NOT Rome) was absolutely wonderful. Met so many great folks.

The only things I liked about Rome were the good takeaway pizza places and seeing the Roman historical stuff. Between the aggressive costume-wearing panhandlers and the gypsies, I couldn't want to get out of there.
