Solo Stove update: They're sending out a Yukon asap and are upgrading it to a stand bundle. That stand is about $80 on its own so not a bad outcome. I wanted to ask how the hell the mixup happened in the first place, but after their upgrade offer I decided to just let it go. It'll be one of life's great mysteries.

I thought about putting one in my gym to see if I could program it to always run the house fan when it detects motion in the gym.

I had a spare sitting in my closet, but put it in our family room (where my daughter's school 'office' is), even though it's not included in any Comfort Zone. I just wanted to see what the temperature was in relationship with the others.

I think those days are long gone unless you’re adding lines. If you’ve been with your carrier for a long time, call them and ask for their retention department. They should be able to get you the same deal you see advertised where a new line is required, only they will waive that part. I did that for my wife’s iPhone 12 Mini, as well as my cell plan a few years back (which isn’t even available unless you talk to this department).

This is precisely why I always leave a few cents available in my Discover account, as well as my Chase accounts.
