Oh hell yeah

I'm sure this will be historically accurate and not full of anachronisms.
I'm sure this will be as entertaining as his other movies since he's one of the best movie makers in the world! Calm down a little, maybe go watch Jesus of Nazareth (1977 series, which is fantastic).
Who needs to calm down?

No one is mad/hot about anything.
I AM (that's a little Bible humor for you)

Shadow and Bone getting excellent reviews. I'm excited for Friday. Just finished the s&b series, on to six of crows
Just watched the first episode - excellent start to the series.
Watched 5 episodes last night, I'm a really big fan. Feels like I watched 3 season of thrones in 5 episodes

Finished up shadow and bone. We all liked it very much, they did a great job at some of the changes from the book, it was nice they made Mal likeable. All the characters were well done. Look forward to rewatching and future seasons

For a show that is such a long, slow burn The Wire has some of the best standalone scenes I can think of. That being one of them, but Bunk and McNulty re-investigating the murder, Snoop buying the nail gun, come at the king, D’Angelo explaining chess, String going down, the list just goes on and on.

I'm working on it. Don't want to binge it because it's so damn good, so I try and watch a single episode per day.

We just started season 2. I told my wife that it's a jarring change at the start from season 1, but she is still into it. I know season 2 is not the best, but I think overall it has a pretty solid arc if you can get by how annoying ziggy is. We are only two episodes in. She is going to be pretty sad when her boy D'Angelo gets got later on this season. Lord knows how she will take it when Stringer goes down towards the end of season 3.

She damn near cried when baby Michael B Jordan (wallace) got killed in season 1.

We just finished watching the first episode of the new Ken Burns documentary "Hemingway". 2 hours in, it's as good as anything he's ever done. I only know the mythology of Hemingway, so it has not just been compelling but is also genuinely interesting. I didn't know so much of his early writing was quasi-autobiographical.
So...... this Hemingway fellow was a giant doosh.
Just finished it, and yes, he was. Really enjoyed Jeff Daniels narration as Hemingway, too.

It's also safe to say that ol Papa had CTE, and this contributed to his rapid decline. It was shocking to see him in his late 50s look 20 years older.

The Emmy Award-winning MASTER OF NONE returns with a new season that chronicles the relationship of Denise (Emmy Award winner Lena Waithe) and her partner Alicia (BAFTA winner Naomi Ackie). Directed by series co-creator and Emmy winner Aziz Ansari, and scripted by Ansari and Waithe, this new season is a modern love story that intimately illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, struggles with fertility, and personal growth both together and apart. Fleeting romantic highs meet crushing personal losses while existential questions of love and living are raised.

Co-created by Ansari and Emmy Award winner Alan Yang, Season 3 delivers an evolution of the series that remains tethered to previous seasons while breaking new storytelling ground of its own.
Eeeeeeeeeh that sucks.
